Stefania Nini

Founder and Managing Director

Stefania holds a Bachelor Degree (cum Laude) in Educational Sciences from the Catholic University of Milan, QTS and a PGCE in Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.

She has been teaching Italian for almost 30 years and her teaching experience spans all ages and ability, from children to adults. At present Stefania teaches at Oxford University (OUDCE), in Multinational Companies and she is teacher examiner for GCSE and A-Level (AQA and Pearson Edexcel).

Her approach is aimed to involve students and helping them to become active in their learning, using engaging and interactive activities. Her priority is to support the student’s ambitions and to help them to achieve their language goals. She always encourages her students to express themselves, using the vocabulary and grammar structures they learn.

 

Alessandra Fabbri

Teacher

Alessandra holds a bachelor’s in laws from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a Master of Law in Family Mediation and Conflict Resolution. 

She is a qualified teacher with a CEDILS (Teaching Italian as foreign language) certification and experience in teaching both in a classroom and in a one-to-one session with students of different ages and levels (children and adults).

She teaches in Grammar Schools preparing students for GCSE Italian exams with enthusiasm and passion.

Alessandra loves her job and she has a creative approach and encourages her students to express their potential; she is very patient, especially with children, helping them to learn and have fun at the same time. 

During her spare time, she loves practicing yoga, reading and creating handmade items.

 

Daniela Maglio

Teacher

Daniela is a passionate and experienced Italian teacher with an abundance of patience, 10+ years' experience and a solid background.

Have provided group and one-on-one classes for 100+ students teaching French, Spanish and Italian literature, grammar and history. She is also specialized in A-Level preparation.

She works as Italian tutor since 2006. Her method is based on the comprehension and oral explanation of texts and videos, of Italian culture, of various levels. In this way we learn new words, grammar, pronunciation and basic notions of Italian culture and tradition. Her motto is "having fun we learn more"!

She has a Degree in French and Spanish Languages and Literature from “L’Orientale di Napoli” in Italy, the CEDILS certificate from the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice, and also the TIAFL - Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language from the Italian Cultural Institute in London.

 

Marianna Orsi

Teacher

Marianna has over 13 years experience teaching Italian language and culture in Italy, USA and the UK to a variety of learners (secondary and higher education, students with disabilities, senior learners).

After her Laurea triennale and Magistrale in Italian Literature at the University of Pisa, she gained a Master of arts and a PhD in Italian and Gender studies from Indiana University.

She taught Italian language (but also literature and cinema) at Indiana University, University of Hawai'i, in several Italian and British private schools, and is currently Italian lecturer at University College School (London).

She has vast experience as a GCSE and A-Level teacher and examiner. Her teaching approach is communicative and student-centered, grounded on the extensive use of authentic materials to allow conversation, cultural comparison and an immersive use of the target language and culture

 

Anna Crippa

Teacher

Anna holds a Master Degree in Social science (cum laude) from the University  of Pisa in Italy and she also holds a CEDILS (Teaching Italian as foreign language) certification from Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

She is a CILS (Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language) examiner at Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava.

She teaches different courses of General Italian (A0 - C2 ) at Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava, CILS exam preparation and individual lessons for children and adults.

Her method is teaching Italian through real communication focusing on all aspects of language usage. She loves to share with students her passion for the Italian culture.

 

Simona D’Elia

Teacher

Simona holds a master’s degree in Philology, Literatures and Ancient History from “Roma Tre” university of Rome.  

She started her career in the Italian high schools and soon she got the Ditals II certificate from Università per Stranieri di Siena to teach Italian to non-native speakers.  Later on she got the opportunity to cooperate with the Embassies of Malaysia and Lithuania (in Rome) and in several national projects, aimed at teaching the Italian language to African migrants. 

For three years she has been teaching History, Geography (IGCSE) and Italian in an International School in Rome, following the British curriculum.

Simona is attentive to the learners’ needs, able to create effective and creative lessons, tailored to the learners' requests, since she is also a qualified tutor for students with Learning Disabilities.

 

Simona Amici

Teacher

Simona holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Bologna and has over 10 years of experience teaching Italian to students of all ages and levels, including young children.

She currently works with several language schools in New York, teaching Italian to a diverse range of students.

Simona creates a welcoming and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable participating and learning without the fear of making mistakes.

With a special passion for teaching children, she uses interactive methods such as games and songs to make lessons fun. Her engaging activities not only build language skills but also introduce students to Italian culture, ensuring they feel confident using the language in real-life situations.

 

Giulia Ricci

Teacher

Giulia holds a master’s degree in Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus on Hindi and Urdu from Ca' Foscari University of Venice, CEDILS certificate and DITALS II from Università per Stranieri of Siena. She attended training and workshops in teaching techniques from DILIT Rome, Società Dante Alighieri and Ca' Foscari University.

Giulia is passionate about foreign languages and cultures: she travelled and worked in India, Australia, England and is currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

For her, being in the class is like travelling:  students can share stories from their lives, countries and cultures. In her classes, Giulia uses drama techniques and gamification because she strongly believes in the importance of an engaging, challenging, but comfortable and fun learning environment.

She enjoys spending her spare time with friends, in nature, reading a book and doing sports.

 

Roberta Arcifa

Teacher

Roberta holds a Bachelor Degree in Modern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Catania, a Master Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Messina and a 1 level Master Degree in Teaching Italian as second language from ICOTEA, MIUR, Italy.

She worked as a children’s tutor in Italy for several years, before moving to Uk. She currently works in an ABA school in London, supporting the education of children with autism. Her goal is to develop language skills, providing engaging and original activities based on children's needs and interests. During her spare time, she loves reading novels and baking.

 

Martina Celleghin

Teacher

Martina has a Master’s Degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication and Cooperation", from “Università degli Studi di Milano“, Italy, a CEDILS qualification to teach Italian as a second language.

She teaches Italian to adults and children on a 1 to 1 basis and to classes of students of various nationalities and abilities.

Martina has gained extensive experience working with migrants and refugees with vulnerabilities, making full use of her empathy and intercultural communication skills. She enjoys teaching and always finds new ways to motivate learners.

She has been volunteering as an Italian Language Tutor since she was in the High School and has been working as an Italian Language Teacher in the last few year.

 

Alessia Comade

Teacher

Alessia has over 10 years of experience in teaching Italian to students of different ages and cultural backgrounds.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy from the University of Messina, and she is currently completing a degree in Psychology, with the aim of further enriching her understanding of educational dynamics and the learning process. She has recently completed a master’s degree in human resources management, which further enriches her experience and allows her to approach her role with a strategic and results-oriented approach.

Throughout her career, she had the privilege to work with bilingual and non-bilingual children, developing and implementing personalized teaching strategies fostering the acquisition of Italian language in an effective and engaging way.

Her experience allowed her to hone her skills in designing bespoke educational programs and managing multicultural classrooms, creating stimulating and inclusive learning environments.

 

Martina Hall

Teacher

Martina holds a Bachelor Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation with a focus on English Language, Literature and Culture, which she has always been extremely passionate about and a Master’s Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures.

Martina has worked in Education in a range of different settings, from Early Years all the to Secondary Schools. Martina is a Level 5 qualified Early Years Educator with years of experience running a Nursery School as Deputy Head.

Martina works as an Italian bilingual interpreter and translator across all schools and year groups, helping bilingual children in their learning.  

Martina is experienced in running one to one and group sessions to support the learning of both Italian and English for pupils from Nursery to Secondary age.

 

Manuela Ferrari

Teacher

Manuela has a Bachelor Degree in Translation from English and German into Italian from “Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori (SSIT) S. Pellico” (now SSML Istituto Universitario Carlo Bo) in Milan, Italy, a TESOL qualification to teach English as a second language and a PTLLS qualification to teach Italian in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Manuela has been working as a qualified professional translator for the last 23 years and has been teaching Italian for 8 years.

She teaches Italian to adults on a 1 to 1 basis and to classes of adults and young adults of all abilities. Manuela enjoys teaching adults and finds the interaction with the students stimulating and fun, she loves seeing their progress and takes pride in helping them improve their knowledge of Italian.

 

Fracesca Schiavo

Teacher

Francesca has a Degree in English and Spanish Languages and Literature from “Alma Mater Studiorum di Bologna’ in Italy and she also finished the ITALS Master program at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She is an official CILS (Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language) examiner.

She is based in Bratislava and she has been teaching continuously since 2003 in various contests: at the Department of Pedagogy of Comenius University in Bratislava, at the Italian Institute of Culture, in corporations. She teaches courses of General Italian, Italian literature and culture and CILS exam preparation.

Her method is teaching Italian through real communication focusing on all aspects of language usage. She took part in local and foreign conferences and she regularly attends webinars for language teachers.
